Thank you for helping out with our annual Jr. IFSA competitions! Check in at the BSSEF team room located at 58 sitting bull road in Big Sky. Please note that parking is not allowed at the team room, park in free skier parking and walk up the road to our building. At your positions start time you will get details on your assignment and pick up a lunch and radio / clipboard if needed. We appreciate you helping out!
BSSEF families will receive credit towards their required volunteer hours. Non BSSEF families will receive a voucher for each day they help out which is valid through the end of the season.

This is the inspection / check in day for the competition. Most teams will be arriving. Help check in athletes and coaches. All athletes will receive some SWAG and their bib sticker for the event. Ensure all certified coaches receive a pass for the weekend and help prepare the start list for the following day. Keep track of all passes given out. Communicate information about the event to everyone.
We will also need help preparing and packing our gear into the CAT basket.

This is an important task! Check in remaining athletes in the morning then head to the venue and help with set up. After we are set up and the competition is running, you will enter scores into LiveHeats. This will take place at the bottom of the venue unless it is bad weather in which case we will process scores in the team room. You will not need a radio or clipboard.

Starters will help with inspection coordination in the morning then will start athletes during the competition. In the morning you, you will need to be the first person to the top of the venue to regulate entry. All athletes must do an inspeciton run and coaches need to be certified. Get a list, clipboard and radio in the team room.
While starting, you will need to double check bib #'s and ensure that athletes are run in the correct order. This is critical for the competition to be run smoothly!

Ski Ninjas must be expert skiers! You will help with setting up the venue then will be staged on hill to help with gear retrieval in the event of a crash. Please come to BSSEF team room to pick up a radio and lunch. This position can get cold, bundle up! We will do our best to keep ninjas circulating.
