Join the Big Sky Ski Education Foundation Board of Directors!
The Big Sky Ski Education Foundation (BSSEF) is excited to announce openings on our Board of Directors. We are seeking dedicated and passionate individuals who share our commitment to fostering the success of youth skiing and snowboarding in the Big Sky community.
Our mission is to provide an opportunity for kids to become great skiers and pursue personal goals while promoting good sportsmanship, healthy competitiveness, sound technical skills, and an appreciation for the spirit of skiing in the mountains.
As a Board Member, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of our Foundation, which supports local athletes in Alpine, Freeride, and Nordic programs.
What We’re Looking For:
- Passion for skiing/snowboarding and youth sports
- Commitment to our community’s success
- Business acumen and fundraising experience
- Ability to attend 90% of Board meetings which are held in Big Sky
As a Board member, you will serve a 3-year term, with the option to serve 2 consecutive terms. Our Board is composed of 11-13 members, working collaboratively across multiple committees including Finance, Fund Development, Executive, and Governance. We are especially seeking individuals who are interested in actively contributing to fundraising efforts and lending their expertise to further the growth of the BSSEF programs.
Applications are due September 7, 2026, and applicants will be voted on for appointment to the Board at the September Board meeting.
