2025 IFSA Jr. Regional

Volunteer Coordinator: Wallace Casper

DETAILS:

Thank you for helping out with our annual Jr. Regional IFSA competition!  Please check in at the BSSEF team room (located above the "M" lot in free skier parking) at your positions start time to get details on your assignment and pick up a lunch and radio / clipboard if needed.  

BSSEF families will receive credit towards their required volunteer hours.  Non BSSEF families will receive a voucher for each day they help out which is valid through the end of the season. 

We are excited for another great competition!

Check-in Team
Start Time: 8:30 am
End Time: 12:30 pm

Help check in athletes into LiveHeats. All participants will receive a buff and pair of gloves as SWAG for the event. Ensure all certified coaches receive a pass for the weekend and help prepare the start list for the following day. Communicate information about the event to everyone.

Scoring Team
Start Time: 8:00 am
End Time: 4:00 pm

Check in remaining athletes in the morning then head to the venue and help with set up. After we are set up and the competition is running, you will enter scores into LiveHeats. This will take place at the bottom of the venue unless it is bad weather in which case we will process scores in the team room. You will not need a radio or clipboard.

Athlete Starters
Start Time: 8:00 am
End Time: 4:00 pm

Starters will help with inspection coordination in the morning then will start athletes during the competition. You will need to double check bib #'s and ensure that the athletes are run in the correct order. This is critical for the competition to be run smoothly! You will need a clipboard and radio.

Ski Ninjas
Start Time: 8:00 am
End Time: 4:00 pm

Ski Ninjas must be expert skiers! You will help with setting up the venue then will be staged on hill to help with ski or gear retrieval in the event of a crash. Please come to BSSEF team room to pick up a radio and lunch. This position can get cold, bundle up! We will do our best to keep ninjas circulating.
