Big Sky Ski Education Foundation is dedicated to providing an athletic environment that ensures each participant is given the opportunity to excel and pursue her or his dreams in Alpine ski racing, Nordic racing, or freeride competitions. Our goal with these scholarships is to help each skier to reach their full potential while easing the financial burden on the athlete’s family. Because BSSEF is a 501(c)(3), your donations are tax-deductible.

Athletes can use these scholarship funds to purchase or lease equipment such as a helmet, backpack, avalanche beacon, shin guards, poles, or skis.
Athletes must travel to compete and train. Travel expenses include transportation, meals, lodging, lift tickets, and entry fees. The Travel Scholarship gives athletes opportunities to participate in races and camps they may otherwise not be able to afford.
